Angie Stone – I Ain’t Hearin’ U

I have a confession, my orignal choices for songs of the week I couldn’t find on the internet (and i’m not gonna upload something without permission) so its down to Ms. Angie Stone to provide this weeks groove.  But don’t be fooled by my little intro because this is no second rate song.

Angie Stone returns from a relatively long hiatus with a slice of smooth soul for the steppers.  It has one of those throwback summertime vibes (perfect thing to warm us up during winter) and is coupled with Angie’s wholesome vocals.

The album is due out in a few weeks time (Nov. 23rd in the US) and on the evidence of this we should be treated to yet another great record; and yet more weightwill be added to the case for her dethroning Jill Scott as the queen of Neo-Soul.
