Mary J. Blige: Kitchen

Some of y’all in the UK may not know (as I did not) Mary J. Blige released an album, Stronger With Each Tear,  in the States at the end of the year (serious FAIL on my part for not knowing).  Of the songs I have heard so far this is by far my favourite.  Wholesome, old skool sounding with great, soft sounding synths.

The lyrics are strong too.  Women listen close, “Never let another girl cook in your kitchen,” both metaphorically and literally (if you don’t know by now, we men are fickle creatures and way to our hearts is really through our stomachs!).

A return to form for Mary on this one.
