Recently been listening to Marvin Gaye’s 1976 album I Want You and the song getting constant replay is this one, Soon I’ll Be Loving You Again.  I love everything about this record and want to know where it’s been hiding the last years of my life!

Everything about it, the lyrics, the way it builds, the way Marvin seems to ad-lib over the whole record, the horns… this is everything I love about great soul music from the seventies.

Enjoy, enjoy again… then enjoy a couple more times.
