Gig News: Paloma Faith to play Barbican with 64 piece orchestra

Found out about this one pretty late, however good news is there are still some tickets available (going very quickly though).

Paloma Faith has teamed up with the Guy Barker Orchestrea to put on what should be a pretty special performance at The Barbican Hall, on Friday December 10th.

The show is called, Down At The Lonely End of the Street, and is apparently “a superbly atmospheric journey through the landscapes of heartache in the company of some of the greatest love songs ever written.”   It was originally put together for BBC Radio 2 and the Cheltenham Festival.

Should be special to hear Paloma sing with orchestral arrangements because she has such a powerful voice it was mde for these kinds of performances.

She will also be throwing some songs from her debut album, Do You Want The Truth or Something Beautiful, as well for good measure.

Tickets are £20-£30 and available from the Barbican Website
