After last week’s intense DubStep shenanigans, I  thought I would slow things down a little with a lovely bit of folk music.

I first found out about Beck Laneheart when she supported Gabrielle Aplin on tour earlier this year.  I checked out her EP and particularly fell in love with this track, The Eversholt Trees.

I love Beck’s singing style, the way she fuses that classical British Folk sound with US sounding country style vocal tones.  It is quite unique and really feels as if Ms. Lanehart could be born and raised in Virginia.

Next year, when I can buy gig tickets again, catching Beck Lanehart play is definitely on the A list.
