Jill Scott is back!  Can I get a “whoop, whoop, whoop!”

After a few years’ hiatus doing all kinds of things (including having a baby so she gets a bly for that one) the Neo-Soul Queen has returned.

This, the first single (I’ve heard) from her forhtcoming album, Light of the Sun, is a funky affair with a real steppers vibe.  I hope this get some serious radio play over here because it definitely has the capacity to be a hit (then again I don’t know much about these things…).  She has hit the ground running with this one, if all the songs on Light of the Sun are half as good as Shame it should be a special album.

Enjoy this one… I have been and will be for much of the summer (well what’s of it, lol)!
