This is one beautiful record.

It oozes the sounds of political soul from days gone by.  On my first listen it reminded me of Marvin Gaye in 1971 when he released his politically charged “What’s Going On.”  I do not make that comparison lightly.  This song is a joy from start to finish.  The instrumentation is very organic and urgent.  It draws you in then smooths you out with flutes singing like birds in the background.

A bloody great record!
