Lynden David Hall – Medicine For My Pain

Whenever I listen to Lynden David Hall I always feel sadness.  He was one of the best soul voices the country ever produced and was sadly taken from this world by cancer (Hodgkin’s lymphoma) in 2006.

I always wonder what would have happened if he was still around and what sensational music was yet to come.  I never got the chance to see Lynden play live and I wish I could have.  He was a fantastic musician and the British music scene is at a loss without him.

I chose this one because of all his records, it is the one that saddens me the most.

Lynden David Hall – R.I.P. – you will forever be sorely missed.
