OK, so I am not going to claim any influence at all… however finally the promoters of the Annie Lennox, Emeli Sande, Jess Mills and Katy B super-concert on Friday night at the Royal Festival Hall have begun to see sense!

Ticket sales have continued to struggle and you can now pick them up for up to a 60% discount via Time Out offers.  For £20 investment you will be issued with a ticket which has of face-value between £35 and £50 (I assume it’ll be a first come first served jobby on the more expensive seats).

The sad thing is they had thought more carefully about pricing in the first place they wouldn’t be in a pickle now trying to offload seats to fill the venue.  Emeli Sande is like concert gold at the moment, selling out gigs for fun so they really should not be in this position.

If you are free, I recommend taking up the offer because it should be an ace night.  Shame is I made other plans now, ah well…
