This one is a mellow and infectious piece of electro-pop.  Loving the vocals, loving the video.

Phreeda Sharp – Gun Fire

Edgy, and not quite sure where it wants to sit; pop, dub, electro… this lack of cohesion is makes for an even more sxciting listen as you never quite know where it will go next.  It’s dark, contagious and I hope Phreeda can fly the flag for UK hip-hop.  It does seem like a real challenge to get the British public to like and care for female rappers so I hope Phreeda can cut through.

Disclosure feat. Sam Smith – Latch

Even more electro for this week… dark and futuristic and Sam Smith’s vocals fit suit it down to a tea.

Vivian Green – Anybody Out There

Vivian Green… new music… don’t need to say much more other than why on earth she has not been to London recently bemuses me-!
