Food: Tropical Strawberry smoothie

So, this morning I had planned to make a tropical smoothie I saw. Like all good chefs I started cutting things up before I even checked to see if I had all the ingredients I wanted to use; I chopped up the mango, plopped in the coconut then opened the cupboard to grab the tinned pineapple.  Moved the corn, rumbled around for ages.  Closed the cupboard and re-opened it (as that always helps when you can’t find something the first time because it will (never) magically appear the next tine).  There’s always tinned pineapple in the cupboard, just clearly not when I need it!

I had to improvise without the pineapple so made use of strawberries instead.

Ingredients

  • 1 mango
  • 1 banana
  • 2-3 tablespoons of coconut yoghurt
  • 5ish strawberries
  • 5ish ice-cubes
  • [optional]: 1 teaspoon of honey

Method

I blended it all up and actually choose to add a little bit of honey in the end.  I am not sure if the honey improved the mix or not, which is why its totally optional
