Jordan RAkei – A Tribe Called Government

A little bit jazzy while a whole lotta soul. Jordan Rekai’s music feels very classic in the way he fuses live instruments to create such a warm and pleasurable sound. It’s taken a little time to find him however very glad I have.

Liam Bailey – Stun Me

One blessing of being in the US is that Liam Bailey’s album got released out here before it did back home. I was blessed to see him perform many of the songs when he supported Paloma Faith out this way earlier in the year.

As he’s gearing up the release Definitely Now, in the UK (his show would’ve been one of the month’s highlights if there were any blooming tickets left), I thought I’d share probably my favourite song on the album, Stun Me. An absolutely beautiful record, sit back and enjoy.

Searching for some new music I message a mate and she recommend Tora. It was a bloody good recommendation. Think Shy Girls… just with a bit more bounce.
