I saw Christine & The Queens warms up for Marina & The Diamonds and it was a fun show. I loved the way she seemed to channel to spirit of Michael Jackson.

I don’t mean in the music. It was in her mannerisms, in her loafers, in her white blouse, it was in the way she was dancing around the stage.

Her music is quirky and has a certain French charm to it. It is very easy to just to adore and get lost in the performance. It’d be good to see how she performs on a smaller stage because with less space to dance it would be nice to see how she adapts the performance.

Great show, and I hope she comes back to The Bay area to play one of the venues in town with a bit of a smaller stage.
