I’ve been on a very long hiatus! I have still been shooting, however been blessed to have the opportunity to shoot for some of the more established Bay Area music blogs (here and here).

Thursday night I was walking home from work, camera in my bag, so decided to make a detour to one of my favourite venues in town, Rickshaw Stop. I arrived just in time to the The Slants finish off what seemed like quite an exuberant set.

Smoke Season, the indie duo of Gabrielle Wortman and Jason Rosen (well trio if you count the drummer), from Los Angeles were next up, with 1955 headlining.
